HBO is in for a change: Longtime executive Colin Callender is leaving HBO after working there for 21-years. Although this isn’t too much of a surprise as he expressed interest in leaving last year he has now officially stepped down (or maybe it’s just stepping out?). He has stated that, “I want to return to my entrepreneurial roots and capitalize on my experience as a producer,” Callender said. “The truth is, there’s been one constant that’s shaped my career, and that’s change. And the industry is at another key inflection point, the marriage of traditional entertainment and new digital content.” I wonder what the whole story is?
