The Hollywood Reporter has posted that Rebecca Mader, best known for playing the scheming redhead on “Lost,” may be joining George Clooney and Ewan McGregor in their new film Men Who Stare at Goats. The film was adapted from Jon Ronson’s novel and is being produced by George Clooney and directed by Grant Heslov. Mader will play McGregor’s wife. Also signed on are Kevin Spacey and Jeff Bridges. Sound likes a goody!

Two more leading ladies join Tim Burton’s, Alice in Wonderland. Variety is reporting that Anne Hathaway and Helena Bonham Carter, have signed up for roles. Hathaway and Carter will take on the roles of the two queens in the film. Hathaway will play the White Queen, who is good at heart and banished by her evil sister, the Red Queen who will be played by Carter. I can’t wait to watch her run around screaming, “Off with their heads!”

Hollywood Elsewhere is reporting that Josh Brolin has signed to star in WB’s feature film version of DC Comics’ Jonah Hex. According to their inside source, everything is locked, loaded and ready to go, but NO ONE has substantiated the rumor yet, so it’s still just hearsay as of now. Hex is about a bounty hunter who wanders plans on a quest to track down a voodoo practitioner. Hex was created by John Albano and Tony DeZuniga and has a ton of gore, supernatural bad guys, and most likely a lot of fun CGI.
