  • Juno Starring Ellen Page, Michael Cera, Jennifer Garner, Jason Bateman, Allison Janney, Olivia Thirlby; is about a young girl, Juno (Ellen Page) confronting an unplanned pregnancy by her classmate Bleeker (Michael Cera). Rain Wilson (aka Dwight from The US Office) makes an appearance, so that’s always a plus.
  • The Amateurs: with Jeff Bridges, Tim Blake Nelson, Joe Pantoliano, William Fichtner, Ted Danson, Patrick Fugit, John Hawkes, Brad William Henke, Glenne Headly, Lauren Graham, Jeanne Tripplehorn. Is about a down-and-out divorcee Andy Sargentee (Jeff Bridges), who with the help of his five motley friends, brainstorms a genius idea to produce an amateur adult film!

  • Atonement (Limited): Starring Keira Knightley and James McAvoy. The filmmakers of “Pride & Prejudice” reunite for a new movie, based on the award-winning best-selling 2002 novel Atonement, which is a classic British romance that spans several decades. Fledgling writer Briony Tallis, as a 13-year-old, irrevocably changes the course of several lives when she accuses her older sister’s (Keira Knightley) over (James McAvoy) of a crime he did not commit… Apparently Knightley is pretty good, but don’t quote me.

  • The Golden Compass: With an all star cast of Nicole Kidman, Eva Green, Daniel Craig (and were not supposed to think of Casino Royale?) Dakota Blue Richards, Sam Elliot, Tom Courtenay, Clare Higgins, Him Carter, and voice of Sir Ian McKellen; is a fantasy film where people’s souls manifest themselves as animals, talking bears fight wars, and Gyptians and witches co-exist. Hmmmm…
  • Grace is Gone (Limited): Starring John Cusack, Alessandro, Shélan O’Keefe, Gracie Bednarczyk. Stanley Phillips’ (John Cusack) life is turned upside down when his dream job if taken away from him due to poor eye-sight and his wife is in Iraq fighting his fight. He now has to become a father and figure that whole things out and the takes off on an awkward adventure…I’m on the fence.
  • Revolver: Starring: Jason Statham, Ray Liotta, Vincent Pastore, André Benjamin, Togo Igawa, Vince Riotta, Mark Strong… This is my version of the film…BANG! BANG! (boobs) BANG! STAB! (play some chess while looking cool) BANG! STAB! (boobs and looking cool)- At least that was my impression.
  • The Walker (Limited): Starring Woody Harrelson, Kristin Scott Thomas, Lauren Bacall, Ned Beatty, Moritz Bleibtreu, Willem Dafoe, Lily Tomlin. Socialites go down! Carter Page (Harrelson), a well-heeled and popular socialite is used as a go-to “gay best friend” who serves as confidant to a group of pampered leading ladies. Trouble ensues! Carter tries to help, but finds out who the true culprit is and has to decide is it more important to be honest or accepted?
